This breed is open to be created, but please link back to me and follow the rules set by the breedsheet when making them. I would like to keep track of these.

Please add your plushiequine to the folder for them in the :iconcreaturesofapollyon: group

-----------------------------------------------
:bulletred: Name- Plushiequine

:bulletorange: Nickname- Plushies

:bulletyellow: Country of Origin- Wales

:bulletgreen: History- The plushiequine breed was created in the 1800s for one purpose and one purpose only. They were created for children. People with curious children who had horses decided they needed a gentle, loving, caring horse that their children could play around and they would not have to worry about them getting hurt. Plushies were bred to be small, so children could care for them easier. The people breeding these horses found that the males of the breed were less gentle and friendly, even when gelded. This caused the creators of this breed to breed out all chances of male equines getting any of the plushiequine gene.

:bulletblue: Base Coloration- Plushiequines normally come in all natural base colors. They can also come with unnatural base colors, but because they were bred to be companions of children, the only unnatural colors they come in are pastel colors. There are no dark or bright base colors.

:bulletpurple: Markings- The stitching markings were created to make the plushiequine look more like a stuffed animal (plushie), and appear more friendly to children. These markings will normally stand out against the base color of the body. These markings can be brighter, unnatural colors. However, they may only be cool colors.
The markings come in three different variations. The first figure seen would be a "complete plushiequine", meaning its entire body has the stitching marks. The second figure would be an "body plushiequine", meaning it has the stitching marks on the face and on the body, but not on the outer part of the limbs. And the last figure would be a "minimal plushiequine", meaning that it only has a few stitch markings on the face, neck, and very inner part of the torso.
The plushie may also have other markings, such as paint markings, appaloosa markings, bird-catcher spots, stripes, etc. These are very minimal though, as at least 75% of the base color must be shown. These markings, again, can be unnatural. However, they are never bright. They are always pastel or slightly darkened.

:bulletpink: Height and Weight- Plushiequines range from 8-13hh and normally weigh 450-700 pounds.

:bulletblack: Build- Even though they are small, plushiequines have an american saddlebred/arabian build to them.

:bulletwhite: Mane And Tail- The horse's mane and tail are very soft and thin. They are normally kept long, because there's no need to cut them or dock them. No hair grows on the back of the neck, so a plushiequine will only have a forelock. The coloring of the mane and tail usually stand out against the base color as well, and can come in unnatural colors. But again, there are no bright colors here. There are only pastel colors and slightly darkened colors.

:bulletred: Eyes- The eyes come in all colors, normally following any unnatural coloring on the body. If there is none, then the eye color is normally a gold, orange, or brown. The coloring takes up the entire eye, so there is absolutely no whites (unless the eye is colored white). The eye is designed to look like buttons, so their pupils are shaped like an X. (see eye figure)

:bulletorange: Accessories- Plushiequines can have accessories, but not very many. As they were made for children, they have no problem with "playing dress-up". However, they would only have things such as necklaces and collars placed around their necks. Bracelets are sometimes seen as well. NORMALLY A PLUSHIEQUINE WILL HAVE NO ACCESSORIES.
Also, plushiequines will normally not have any piercings. However, I will accept piercings such as pins, needles, and buttons. Only things that would be seen on a doll. Nothing else.

:bulletyellow: Personality- This breed is very sweet, gentle, friendly and very motherly. Plushies, like dogs, only want to please others and will do anything to do so. They are also easily trusting, and tend to bond and get attached to their owners/handlers very quickly. If they were to be mistreated, they may actually become depressed and seek out a different owner.

:bulletgreen: Riding- Plushies are not normally ridden, because of their small stature. As they are companion ponies, they are not normally shown either. But they would not have a problem with either of these things. Training them would be very easy.

:bulletblue: Diet- Whatever normal horses eat. Also occasionally candy and sweets. (children)

:bulletpurple: Breeding- Oddly enough, because there are only females in this breed, they have figured out a way to breed. Normally this involves artificial insemination from a male not in the breed, or from the lovely way science has figured out to make babies without a father. BUT, on some occasions, immaculate conception will happen. These ponies have found a way to have foals without the assistance of stallions.

:bulletpink: Genetics- (related to breeding)

^^ No probs!

D: I can only imagine the amount of trouble you must go through to be able to gather and come up with so much data about your created breed. :3

Having to think it all up is really a pain in the ass, especially if I'm not in a creative mood at the time. It actually took me an hour to type up all this info.
